So many wonderful comments, I'm ashamed of not posting any liveaction shots yet or making the waistband yet.

I was planning on making a waistband based on a little striped snake I saw in the movie, but to be honest, I'm a little lazy and I don't like to tuck my shirts in my skirt or pants for that matter, so most of the time my shirt is hiding the hideous waistband, letting only the pretty come out Tongue

But still I want to thank you all for your wonderfull comments and of course the many this rocks button pushers (somehow, this sounds awkward) for making my skirt a featured project!

And now I will scurry of in search of my digital camera!

Im staying at my dads house now, so I forgot that the skirt is at my own house.

But I did find a picture my dad made, when I was working on the skirt and thought of sharing it with you all.

I used about 8 or 9 pens. I kept a few especially for the line work and a couple for coloring big patches. I noticed that after coloring stuff in with a lot of black that the fabricmarker became all fuzzy and didn't know the meaning of pretty and sharp lines anymore.
