I made this for my friend from work who is getting married on the 11th she wanted something pretty vs racy/sexy and was very pleased with this Smiley  The lace was hand gathered and it is the stretchy kind so it isn't so itchy - I used grosgrain ribbon on the inside so it wouldn't slide down either.





On another note I haven't really explored these boards before but I'm amazed by what I was missing!

I really like the added flower. I never really thought about making my own garter before, hopefully I'll remember when the time comes. Yours (well, your friend's..) turned out great!!

thanks jwill it is definitely cheaper most of the ones I saw online were in the neighborhood of $20 -this cost about $8 and is one of a kind.
