lol, the carebear was nuts! the yarn I wanted was no longer in stock (I can only buy cheap yarn in winter and as theres only 6 weeks left shops are phasing it out again  Roll Eyes ) so I had to go for the more expensive wool option, not that it mattered  Grin they priced them wrong so I got $21 worth of wool yarn for $9  Grin
The belly is stash yarn, from my partners Mum, so it may be acrylic, and the feet, heart patch on bum and face are all embroidery thread  Cheesy I had a ball making it, and my sister will be very upset to know you like it so she cant have it  Cheesy

Yes, the hooks are polymer clay, I found a type at my local book stare aages ago, and unlike fimo it goes kind of glossy when baked. I had fun making them  Cheesy

That pink/brown/white thing is the last item I was rushing to finish  Cheesy my first granny square bag  Wink now I have a sewing machine (arrived today) Ill never have to hand stitch that fast ever again!!

Julie Im glad you like it, I know that when my other half goes away all I want is something to cuddle, so there you go  Smiley (oh and I love the wee bum stamp most of all heh heh heh)

the polymer clay handles are a nice touch, never thought of doing something like that. They would be especially good for you lusty butterflies as you complain that the metal hooks hurt your hands.
Good job phoenix!

I received my parcel from goldsheepbowl today and here is everything in all it's awesomeness.  i was really spoiled.  would you look at that adorable giraffe!!!

i can see why the dragon took forever, a lot of small stitches.  it is too cute, i luv it Smiley

here's  sideview to see more detail.  i freakin luv the button eyes

not only did i receive 3 amazing ami's, but i got some different types of yarn (that  bamboo yarn is to die for, and the other two are cool, they're like ribbons....i can't wait to craft something out of them.  that white yarn would have been perfect for the lamb i made you), a package of the cutest buttons ever....i too have a button fetish Smiley , i also got a little rock in the shape of a heart and 2 awesome necklaces

a postage necklace (where is the stamp from?) and a tree of life necklace.  i have always wanted these 2 types of necklaces.   you are a mindreader girl Smiley

needless to say, i luved everything.  i really don't believe that you just started making these, they're gorgeous.  i was very spoiled, i'm the one that has to do a "make it up to you" package

thanx julie for organizing an amazing swap

Don't be silly it was a pleasure to craft for you!!! Tongue
The stamp is one from here, but i think i either got it from some mail i received or from someone in another swap Smiley

There are some eyes in that bag too, along with washers, they're just hiding well Wink turns out they sell them with the buttons in craft stores but i'm that foolish i didn't realise until a month ago!
So glad you like it all Smiley
