I've been making these hobo lunch sacks lately.  Grin  They're a lot of fun to make, and they're useful (IMO).  They're also easy to clean!  (I'm digging the fact that they're reversible as well.)

The pattern and tutorial can be found on Sewing Notions' blog.  The directions are very clear and easy to follow!  This furoshiki-inspired bag is also a quick project, perfect for a beginner, with lots of room for error.

Just a few more thoughts about the project+ramblings here, but I don't want to bore anyone as usual.  Cheesy

Thanks for posting such a detailed tutorial. It's really helpful for a beginning sewer like me Smiley. I can't wait to try making one of these for myself!

Thanks for your comments, everyone! Cheesy  I hope you guys will have fun making this as I did!

I did want to say again, the tutorial and pattern are all from Sewing Notions, so please thank her. Smiley I happened to come across her website, and I decided to make one and share the results.

Sewing Notions did a great job with her tutorial and pattern (and was so generous to share it online), and I hope that people will visit her and try it out!

The bag is adorable.
My question has nothing to do with it:
    Is that memo's written on your hand, or is that a tattoo?

Heaven's, no!  I wrote about that in my blog, but no, it's not a tattoo.  (I would wonder how drunk I was to get something like that...)

It's a note reminding me that I have a Honda appointment tomorrow.  It's really helped me remember. Grin

M'kay. I was just wondering. I used to do that kind of thing myself. {now, due to a car accident last year, I have been writing notes to myself in a notebook. My memory has been improving and my notes are getting fewer and fewer; good thing, too: my notebook has about 20 pages left  Cheesy}

The bags are cute.
