When I saw these two fabrics I just had to buy the bolts!  And I don't usually purchase more than 3 yds of one fabric.  Can't stand making the same exact thing more than once, but hey that's the business!

Anyhow Princess themed parties are big and princesses in general for lil girls! These dresses capture that well.

I loved the contrast of red and lavender.  You don't see those two colors together much.  There's silver metallic in the fabric so I added dilver ruched organza trim to the bodice.

And I'ma sucker for anything pink and green! That fabric also is partially metallic.  And you gotta love how I cut off half the princess' body underneath the bodice!  LOL.  Blooper.

I made hair accessories to match both but don't have close-up photos.  2 girls modeled them at my fashion show last month.  The pics are washed out though.

They are both adorable!  If you don't mind me asking, where did you find the princess fabric?  My dds would love it.

I got the fabric at Walmart I think.

Yes I ADORE ruffles!  And I would DIE without my sergers!  I refuse to sew without one!  I only use the serger to roll the hems of my ruffles.  Shirring and ruffling is done with a regular sewingmachine.  I also have a ruffler which has to be one of my top 3 favorite sewing tools!
