Hawaiian-Esque Wedding Dress (Image Chubby)

My mom's getting married and her theme is Hawaii. She said wear anything you like so long as it's Hawaiian print.
I am shaped weird. Stuff does not fit, and I am also adamant about never wearing anything that makes me look plumper than I really am. These two things make it extremely difficult for me to pick clothing at the store.
So I decided to make one.

My granny picked out the print and I was really scared because it's white first of all, and second it's got a huge print. Both bad things for people who want to look slimmer.
Anyway enough jabber. We both worked on this, and she did the hard parts like the zipper and the back because we lost the back piece pattern and had to improvise. I did a lot of ironing, but I figure since I did part of it that it still counts.

I used New Look 6557, view B. The bust folds over in the middle like a wraparound and there's a waist bit and then the skirt. I don't know lingo.

Enough jabber.
