So, she is chubby, but she is very physically fit and I love her. We will call her Alice since that is the inspiration behind her.

I received from GlassSpider a few days ago and she sent me the coolest poppet ever. Here's Lily:

"In her previous life, Lily was a very famous courtesan, who entertained the nobility of the court. One night, however, Lily courted the wrong count and her "life" was changed forever..."

Hmm. A dark and mysterious night illuminated by candlelight. *Gasp* a coffin, what could be inside?


Oh my gosh, IT'S ALIVE!!!


A vision of ivory skin and jet black hair steps out of the coffin and in a crisp British accent says, "Hello. My name is Lily. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."


She told me she was 175 years old. I didn't believe her so she showed me the bite on her neck. Indeed she is a vampire.


This ring was made from the cravat pin of her sire, she stole it from him before she ran away.



Lily is so amazing. First she came in a awesome lined coffin. Her hair is really wild (I'm going to try and get a better pic of it). Her outfit is beautiful (how did you get the gathers? rushing? on the skirt). She has a vampire bite on her neck that indents like a true bite and the letter she came with was very nicely hand printed and burnt.


GlassSpider also sent me this necklace straight from my wist for my birthday. It's better than the one in my wist though because this one has a cool pearl and a key/lock toggle clasp.

Gotta say WOW! What a great personality she has! I love her outfit, and her coffin, and the back story. I'd like to see some better pics though...maybe in sunlight? Maybe she sparkles like the Cullens....*giggle!*

I am so disappointed that I haven't been able to show off the poppet I made! He's so darling. Where oh where has my swap partner gone? Oh, where oh where can she be?

  I LOVE the pics you took, Seraphina!!!! What a great idea! And I love the extra info you added to her story 

Here's a pic that shows a little more detail of her outfit, although the glare on her face seems to wash out any detail there. Seraphina got a better pic of the bite mark.


The gathers/rushing (whatever you want to call them) were super easy! Her skirt is basically a rectangle. After I gathered it around the waist to fit to her I just ran stitches from the bottom to the top, then pulled the fabric up a bit so it would bunch. After I did that all the way round the skirt I then tacked some of the gathers in place so they would be a bit more secure. Originally the back of her cloak was supposed to become a hood, but I gave her a bit too much hair

Lily is ab fab to the nth degree. Aweosme work and I love everything, including the casket box.
