DizzerSpinninRound- I'd love if you would consider posting a tut on how you did those joints! They came out really neat and makes the doll look so pose-able. Smiley

Sure. I got it from an awesome doll making book. I will make a short video sometime this week and post the link here and on the poppet along board.

Grin I received from my wonderful angel beth8144, and my package was AMAZING  Shocked

First thing i pulled out was some red heart worsted yarn. I have been wanting to get my hands on some of this for ages. We don't have worsted here in UK. We have our main use yarn Double knit which is slightly thinner, and aran which is the nearest in weight. I use alot of American patterns, so wanted to see exactly what thickness was used.
Next i saw the poppet hair,  was going to try to get everything else out first lol, but couldn't contain myself, I had my husband sat with me, and i said to him, "i have to free her now". As I pulled 'her' out i realised, this was no her at all... My husband and i practically squealed together (of course he squealed in a very manly deep way LMAO) as we saw who we had.

LORD RAHL

Isn't he amazing!!! For those that do not know 'Legend of the seeker' this is Darken Rahl

(can i say YUM!!!! *swoons* )

The detail on Darken Rahl is incredible

My 10 year old daughter couldn't be any more impressed, and has informed me i have to know make a Kahlan Poppet to go with him -

beth8144 has been so very very very generous. She also included some clear safety eyes, which are not very common here in uk. Lots and lots of alova swede to try. It seems slightly different to what i have here in uk, can't wait to give it a go. And another outfit for Lord Rahl.

Which i think makes him look like a Spanish lover lol  Cheesy

All my wonderfull goodies together. Thank you so so so much beth8144 you are a true angel  Kiss

All the poppets are great but I am so glad that mummynat loved hers. He was so fun to make and she took some amazing pics. Also just love that on his time off he is a spanish lover. So funny. Enjoy.
