Eep! I received from rlynn ages ago, but have been remiss in posting pics. Internet issues, but that's no excuse. (Also, there was the problem of actually getting the amazing things she sent OFF of me and my girls, who are wearing them daily!)

So, rlynn sent something representative of each of my themes, which was way cool! Here is {almost} everything:

The tin is green/Walt Whitman (Love this!), Then there is a double sided glass slide neclace (art deco and one side is green), a steampunk pendant, and the Walt Whitman inspired necklace - from his poem titled A Word Out of the Sea.

What I forgot was the three magnets (one is a Shrinky Dinks Magnet of Reduced Shakespeare Company, then two bottle cap magnets (green, art deco). Sorry! They are on my fridge at home and I don't leave work till 8pm on Sunday, then I'll be sans Internet for two weeks... There IS a downside to living in a very rural area! Rlynn, if you have pics of the magnets, could you please post them?! They are so cute!

Close ups of the double sided necklace!

Beautiful, yes?!

Then, here is my absolute fave... (been wearing it constantly!)

Thank you so much, rlynn - you did an amazing job!

So today marks 1 month since i sent...  It should have taken 5 days Roll Eyes still no sign of it. Im gathering some stuff together to make another tin (finally a reason for supplies coming in multi-packs! I can re-make some items!) and will try and do it over the weekend/early next week. I have the pics of the original tin I sent too but will hold off posting them for a bit longer, just incase it turns up.

I actually got a postcard from Cuba which was sent on 30th may and arrived this week. I guess theres hope the tin is not lost....but i'm not convinced!

ah well, look on the bright side, i'll enjoy making another one and if they both arrive with babalina then YAY!!!

ok, so i've spent my day off on a craft marathon! I've made a second tin. I decided to do a different theme from babalina's list as that way if the original package arrives she doesn't get double!! Will take pics tonight and post tomorrow. I'm going away soon and moving so want to get these swaps wrapped up before i do!!

lets hope this one makes it in the 5 days it should take!!!!

I can't believe it's come to this...lol...I've seen problems with the postal system before but nothing to this extreme.  I appreciate you making a new tin and resending.  I know babalina's tin was returned to her and she resent, I'm guessing it still hasn't made it to you.  Well hopefully this one will be quicker.  ***fingers crossed***

Hooray, my package arrived from babalina! It is awesome, thank you! you sure squashed a lot into one tin!!

tin

inside

sailor jerry/swallow dominos, scrabble tile and glass bead

Swallow/tattoo patch and mini sewing kit.

Swallow earrings and bracelet

I think the earrings have to be my fave. I am wearing them already!!
The bracelet is really unusual, what is it made of??

And thanks for the reeces...my BF enjoyed a more than his fair share of them. We both are a bit crazy over peanut butter so i had to share! When i lived in Albuquerque i used to send him them! You cant get the dark choc or caramel over here. (so thanks!! haha)

I hope either one of the tins i sent you arrives soon!! I went to the post office today and asked about missing mail. They said international mail that is over 3 weeks late is classed as lost and so they have let me put in a claim for the cost of it (which i didnt expect at all so thats a few ££ more to spend on crafting!)
