Thanks guys! Yeah, the shirt is super comfy and airy... lol
greyskybutterfly the shirt was an XL and I cut the sides open. I then used my dress form to figure out how high I wanted the tight part (the hips and waist) to go. You can just do this by measuring your hips and waist. I then sewed it up and across the arm at that same spot (I sewed up the side and over to make the arm hole like an "L" shape) Then I cut the neck and made a boat neck... pretty simple and fast!!
I'd LOVE to see what you come up with if you try it. Hope it helps!!

Metal Vyxen-
Thanks for the comment. Making the Skinless shirt was kind of complicated. This is the second shirt I have made like this, so it was easier the second time around.
I'll explain what I did and I hope you understand it. Here it goes:
I cut the shirt up the sides and took the sleeves off. I cut the collar off too by cutting straight across the top to make a straight edge at the top and cut off the collar at the same time.
Then I used my dress form to drape the shirt and make it more fitted on the sides. I used my dress form to calculate where I wanted the front piece. I like to have a lower neckline so I brought the front piece lower than the back piece (the back piece has "Feed the Meat Grinder" across it, so I had to fit the phrase in the back). I stopped pinning the sides after I got through the whole front piece. At that time, I took some black stretch jersey and attached a long rectangular piece to the top of the back piece of the shirt just above the "Feed". The rectangle was laid horizontally across the back piece so that the jersey piece was longer than the back piece. The extra fabric on either side turned into the sleeves.
Ok, now I had a shirt that is fitted to my dress form all the way up and then I have unstiched fabric at the top that sticks out about three or four inches on either side (kind of like a tube top with extra fabric up at the top of the back side). I then took the rectangular piece and folded it over the shoulders of the dress form and pinned it at the armpits. This created the funky neckline and the sleeves at the same time. I then unstiched the side seam a little bit and tucked in the part of the rectangular piece I had just pinned and sewed up the side seam again. I then hemmed the sleeves. Then it was done!!
I hope this wasn't too confusing!!
