I really don't know what to choose still... I don't know too much about fabric and I don't want to pick the wrong thing.. I'm still planning to make the tulip skirt I asked about earlier.

I would like a fabric that has a lot of drape, but it doesn't have to be necessarily stretchy... I just need drape.

but the thing is that I would like something sheeny, meaning not completely matte but not too shiny? I feel like satin is definitely too shiny.

and of course, machine washable is highly preferred.

Rather than focusing on a particular fabric, my suggestion would be to go to the store and feel the fabrics until you find something you like. Unwrap some of the fabric from the bolt and hold it around you so you have an idea of how it will drape when made into the skirt.
