My very first dress

I'm new to sewing, but I've been inspired to start making a few things for my daughter.  This is my very first attempt at a dress, it's from the "Analise" pattern by Portobello Pixie.

My daughter is a very reluctant model (at 21 months standing still for a photo is hard), so I took a few candids of her playing.

Very nice, especially for a first time - Love your fabric choices and it looks so summery and comfortable ... I see lots of little homemade dresses in her future!

That is a darling dress.  I am in love with the fabric you used for the skirt.  Where did you get it??

Thanks for the kind comments.  I'm hoping that I can do a few more for her for the summer, as I'm either too cheap to buy things in the stores or they aren't to my taste  

The skirt fabric is by Alexander Henry fabrics: "Starling" in natural.  I got it from etsy (fabricworm, I believe).
