I received my house from parisgirl today and it is SO cute!  It looks so good with my other houses, too... Smiley

The picture is a little wonky, but it is a lop-sided house when standing upright...like a cute little cottage that's about to topple over! Smiley

Ooh, I love that lopsided house!  It's too adorable!

Speaking of adorable, I received an adorable "tea house" from loves2experiment!  This is so lovely -- I believe the base is made of balsa wood (did I say that correctly?)  and it's quite shimmery!

And the reverse -- a lovely teabag!  How cute is this?

Thank you so much L2E!  I love my little tea house.  Cheesy

I received from amaryllisroze, but am still working on finding my camera cord. You can post a picture if you have it, if not I should be done unpacking by Wednesday so it should turn up somewhere...

Thanks Cheesy  I had fun making this batch of chunky houses!

SonjaBoo, yes, that is balsa.  I misted the wood with a walnut ink/mica mixture and voila!  Shimmer!!  And psst.  There is a wee hidden detail under the inchie that is secured with a photo anchor Wink

parisgirl, I love the house you made!  It's charminly wonky!

I got a lovely "tea house" from loves2experiment yesterday!!!  I think it's awesome that so far in this swap I have recieved a coffee house and a tea house! Beverage-themed houses FTW! Sorry for the crap pics, I usually take pictures outside on the back steps but my weird neighbor is in his yard right now Tongue

Honestly, I didnt discover this until I saw SonjaBoo's tea house and loves2experiment said it opened! I love it!!!

the back is an awesome real teabag! Did you put the leaf cutouts in there?

love your tag!!

Thanks loves2experiment!!    I sent all my houses yesterday! Go Team House!!!

Actually, the teabag isn't real Wink  I made it with thin interfacing (ah, one of the joys of having an abundance of sewing supplies Roll Eyes)...and yes, those are paper leaf cutouts.
