How are you planning on quilting it?  Also do you have rotary cutter, clear ruler and cutting mat?  If not I highly suggest in investing in a set.  You can get a small set for under $20 if you are not too sure you are going to want to do another quilt.
LOL! I"m so glad I asked you guys, I was just kind've gonna have at it, but not anymore-- I think I"m going to have to do some research first. As far as cutting, I was just going to use my regular scissors, and I do have a cutting mat. Easier to get a rotary cutter?
And I had planned on using a bunch of fleece I have for the batting. good idea? or are there specific battings for quilting?

I made these pillows tonight from the frabric I got from imafundork! My mom insisted I used pillow forms, but I didn't feel like running to the store, so I used a bunch of polyfill that I've collected from yardsales, and bits of string and yarn I've been saving up. So, of course, they are lumpy, but I think Lily will love them anyways!

First time I've used the sewing machine without my mom standing by me, although I did call her three or four times because the bobbin thread kept tearing!

How fun!  I love seeing all the finished projects from the fabric in this swap!  I need to get my butt into gear and start sewing!  Roll Eyes

Just a thought:

Maybe my chem class has me not thinking straight, but how are we going to end this swap? I don't want it to end but it has to end somehow, lol.
