Thanks everyone for all the wonderful comments~

@ reuse & kjlutz - I did wear it out once.. but no pics unfortunately.. But it will have a new owner soon, so maybe she would be willing to send me pics when she wears it Smiley

@ Teresa_T - Thanks so much! And yeah, no feathers Smiley It is a vegan version of the dress~

@ nat_attack - Yay~ I hope to see your version of the dress this Halloween then!

*this rocks*
Very well executed from what I can see, I prefer it to Bjorks actual dress as that as other people have said looked like a dead swan, and yours has no feathers! Brilliant!

Seconded. The dead swan issue was what made Bjrk's dress bad - otherwise it was awesome, she looked cute in it and I never could understand why everybody seemed to hate it so. I think it's simply someone said it was hideous and everybody repeated that not to sound odd...
So it's great to see it done again, and so gracefully.

Oh. My. Gosh. I saw the thumbnail and thought "It couldn't be". I love love love this dress. I still think that it was a wicked dress and despite all the hate, I still liked the dress. I think your's looks really pretty; it is more elegant and classier than her's. Was it really difficult to make? Ps- The swan looks really good.

Thanks a lot~ I just found out from reading everyone's comments that the dress was an actual dead swan o.O
I had no idea! But obviously I still thought it was cute on her.. I just wish it wasn't a real animal :\

It was pretty easy to make.. just time consuming. I cut up a ton of strips of like 4 yard lengths of tulle and then gathered and stitched them onto a semi circle skirt. And then I just drew the shape of the swan onto fabric and cut two.. The face is made of felt and stitched on. Then I stuffed the swan neck/head it and sandwiched it between the skirt and waistband seam.  Sewing the tulle was the hardest part because with every row it got harder and harder to fit everything under the sewing machine lol
