Ok so I fell in love whit the oasis wrap at www.naturallycaron. com. I'm quite new to crochet but as all earlier projects were a breeze I thought I could handle it. So I started and after figuring out how to do the foundation row stitch I crocheted happily along. The description reads :Foundation Row: Chain 2, sc in top loops of second ch from hook (counts as mod-sc), *ch 1, mod-sc in previous sc; repeat from * until 195 mod-sc have been made,(so far so good but then: ) ch 1195 mod-sc.. And Now I am lost, for I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Do I make 195 chainstiches? Do I somehow crochet in opposite direction with the same stitch as before?
I really hope somebody can explain this to me, as I don't know anybody who does crochet.

the full description can be found at: http://www.naturallycaron.com/projects/oasis/oasis_1.html

ok, that bit in red is two things.

When you finish the foundation row as indicated (195 mod-sc), you chain one.

the "--195 mod-sc" is just the stitch count so you can double check that you've completed the row properly. It's not part of the instructions.

I hope that makes sense!
