I have been working on these for the past 2 months or so in class. We have to enter a fashion competion for ametuer designers, and this is what I made to enter the streetwear section.

It's kind of crappy image quality. These are scans of printed out pictures, haha. You can't see it, but the front of the trousers is pleated and wraps over and then ties in the bow. It was really tricky figuring out how to do this, as these are the first 'real' pair of trousers I've ever made.

Both pieces are completly designed by me. I made the patterns and did about a thousand toiles of both before I got them right. And I still don't like the way the shirt sits. Sigh...

Next time I see them it will be on a catwalk!!!!

Love the designs!  Good luck with your show hon!

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Stunning.  Kudos to you, all your hard work resulted in something you can really be proud of.

Also, I've a non-crafty friend who would be beside himself if he was crafty because he's "yossarian" in so many places it'd break his heart if he couldn't be that here.

The pants are adorable and the shirt is perfect.  Totally an outfit I would buy! Wink

Hi there, great work on your outfit, it really looks like a complete ensemble.
And the fact that you designed them both yourself makes it even more special!
Best of luck with the fashion show, I have only recently become addicted to Project Runway so I can imagine some of thrill that you must be feeling in anticipation of your outfit coming down the runway! It must all be such an exciting experience Smiley
Congratulations on a great outfit and let us know how the show goes Smiley

I really like the gigantic bow on the pants and the shape of the top is lovely.

The silhouette from the side is really beautiful, I'm not totally sold from the back though. Nice fabric choices~
