I made this doll for my Sister in law that collects all things Wizard of Oz. Kudos to my Husband for coming up with the Idea for Toto ( basically a black yarn pom pom with beads for eyes) for the Basket I made a form from index cards and cut felt into strips and weaved/hot glued it to the form. Again the doll was entirely hand sewn and made with acrylic felt, poly fill and embroidery thread.

She's cute, but I suspect that Toto is really a tribble!

Hehehehe. Love tribbles!!!

This is beautiful! Husbands are pretty good  with crafty ideas at times! It's a shame so many boys grow up without crafty interests being nurtured and developed... anyway - gorgeous work. You should be so proud.

Luckily My husband inherited some of his father's creativity. His Dad does awesome work , Whether its landscaping, home decorating or doing his crafts(He does everything from flower arrangements to stain glass)

My husband just finished up on his latest project, he redid an arcade cabinet.  Is there any rules against posting a spouses work for them?

We love Star Trek also and the tribble reference was made that same night I did Toto:) one of my future projects is doing a Star Trek doll. In the planning stages atm.
