I received the neatest doll from Im Sew Silly. Her name is Strawberry BBQ named appropriately by Im Sew Silly's kiddo. Strawberry BBQ is a little, sweet, sour and quite spicy! She tends to be helpful, but most of the time she just chats away and keeps me company while tending to the cooking matters.

Here she is explaining to me the largest fish she has caught. She told me how great the fish fry was and how I missed out. That was because I wasn't around for it. Doesn't she look lovely in her dress with wonderful apron. She is well prepared in case company stops by. Just adore that necklace.

Here is what she says is her good side profile. I think she is wanting to show off her flower in her beautiful soft locks.

Oh... it looks like she is cooking up something. Hopefully it isn't any trouble!

Here is the bowl that she came with. I am told that she didn't want to break any dishes while here, so she brought one of her own.

thank you very much Im Sew Silly, we are getting along fine and the added estrogen has been a blessing to the house to which is filled when men. LOL (she couldn't have come at a better time) Well I must go, we are going to be working on some projects. (sorry about the quality of the photos... I am still looking for my camera that went missing over the weekend)

Poyupop I am so happy you like her and that you two are getting along so well Cheesy
Ack..she is telling her fishing story again! lol...let me tell ya,,,that fish grows each time she tells it! but it is a good story!
yes, she insisted she bring along her own personal fabric bowl..as she has a tendency to get chatty and drop things so... that way your bowls are safe! haha
oh my! it appears she is preparing Mississippi Mud Brownies perhapps? yummm!

LIke I say, I am so happy you are pleased with her and tickled you decided to keep the name my kiddo came up with as I thought it rather a funny name. Only a kiddo could come up with a name such as that and it fit- ya know? It was a joy making her for you!

I'm not in on this swap, but I had to comment on this lovely doll.  You did a wonderful job, ISS.  I love the sculptured face and hands and pointed feet. Did you use a pattern, modify one or design it by yourself?  Terrific doll to start the gallery with.

Thank you for the nice comments Smiley

Mamarose~ I made the pattern up myself. I usually stink at following someone else's patterns anyway so i do better winging it haha. it was the first time I have ever tried sculpting a face but i rather enjoyed it so i will have to try it again sometime Smiley

Cant wait to see all the other additions to the gallery cause I know its going to be totally fabulous! Cool

Hi all,
May I present the newest addition to my doll family: an extra-special little girl named Amelia!  She is the proper British lady having her afternoon tea! Sajona sent me her all the way across the big pond and she arrived in dandy shape along with some extra treasures:

Thank you, thank you, sajona, I love her!  This swap was so much fun!!  All the best to everyone - enjoy your crafting and the lovely creations we all share! Wink
