What do you think of this clutch?

I am very happy with my embroidery, but the not so much with the shape of the bag...

What do you think? Too long looking? Flap too big? It just looks a little off to me. Or maybe it's missing something...

maybe there's too big a curve between the far edges and the opening? maybe more trapezoidal? if thats a word... Cheesy

Trapezoidal, lol!

I agree that the bottom of the purse curves out too much - kinda makes it easy to loose stuff in the purse.

Yeah, it has to wide of a bottom, but that embroidery is awesome. Where did you find that embroidery pattern?

Yeah, the curves are off, so I guess it should just come and live with me.   Grin  Seriously, though, I happen to like the shape even though it isn't a shape you see everyday.  It is unique and well made.  I like it.

if the flap was as wide as the top part it would look more balanced

I think it's great just like it is.  It's an attention grabber.

I like the shape. It's unique!

Maybe a big red button or something on the flap would add the extra little pop you are looking for?

i really like the shape (and *great* needlework too!) i think it maybe needs some kind of pop... maybe a nifty brooch or emerald cut jewel in the center of the flap. i'm thinking a diamond brooch or maybe a blood red jewel. it would make it seem like the small part of the flap had a purpose, to draw attention to the sparkly doo-dad. just my input, but i think everything needs more costume jewelry!

p.s. also would love to know where you came upon that pattern... i'm envisioning a wicked cardigan!

I love it together, the clutch has a sort of off angle feel to it and the embroidery is wonderfully structured, I think the two differences make it perfect, I would love to have that bag with me on a night out of  town <3
