This is a peanut butter cake from scratch using this recipe http://www.recipespin.com/recipedetail.aspx?id=51 and chocolate buttercream icing from the Wilton Site.  The decorations are peanut butter buttercream icing which I made from leftover buttercream icing that I added about 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter to.

The ladies at work are going to hate me as I build my portfolio!  LOLL!

Any comments or suggestions?

Looks very tasty. It's funny, because I made a vegan version for my birthday just over a week ago XD

Vegan should be doable pretty easily I would think.

Well the girls at work had it cut by 9 am.  LOL!  It was delicious! :-)

Thanks all!  I love hearing comments!

This is perfect! My boyfriend's birthday is next month and I was planning on making him a chocolate and peanut butter cake. But I am trying to come up with a great way to decorate it. The whole thing will be brown...is there any way to liven it up for his birthday? I was thinking mini peanut butter cups, but that's still brown. I want some color but am afraid that just plain buttercream decorations will throw off the flavors. Any suggestions?

That looks so amazingly good. In my house, that would be a single serving size!

Maybe M-n-M's?  The mini ones would probably be best, if you can find them.
