I found this tutorial here: http://www.alphamom.com/holiday/2009/05/surprise_dad_with_the_smallest.php to make these adorable little toolboxes out of altoids boxes. They were super easy and the daddy's I gave them to loved them! =)

I loved them so much I'm thinking about making a pink one for myself and my mom! haha! Or cute wedding favors?? hehe can you tell I'm in love?? =)

I couldn't find any metal eye straps at my local hardware so instead I used the straps made for plumbing piping, a lot thicker but still gets the point across!
Still crazy after all these years....

I saw that same post and thought what a grand idea it was -- it occurred to me at the time that finding the right hardware would be the biggest challenge.  I believe you rose to the challenge admirably !

I saw that tutorial and wanted to make one SO bad! Yours turned out great Grin! Did you actually use an Altoids tin? Because I can't see the lettering on yours like you can on the tute.

Thanks so much =D

I did use an altoid tin and you can see it in person but my camera phone just isnt as nice as the photo. Also I just used regular craft spray paint, not specifically metal spray paint, so that may make a difference.

Oooo Ive had that tute bookmarked forever and I have tins saved just haven't gotten around to doing it yet Smiley yours turned out great!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.
