Love the doodles you did on the envelopes!  I was gonna try for that, but my doodles are, erm, best reserved for "my eyes only!" Roll Eyes

I received from Avesthel today. Smiley

I got home from work to find this in my mailbox.  Apparently, the USPS is serious about the 1 ounce rule!

No worries though, because Avesthel sent some pretty cool stuff in that envelope!  Wink Cheesy

A bit of yarn, two stitch markers, an Avesthel original bookmark and a super cute book plate.

A blank thank you card and a post card of a print by Avesthel (which is beautiful!)

And a ton of stickers! I adore the love birds!

Thank you so much, April!  I feel bad now that I didn't send anything crafted, but only supplies.  Embarrassed

What an awesome envelope of goodies!  Is that handspun yarn?!?  And stickers!  Doh!  Why didn't I think of that?

Goodgrief, I guess you're right that the USPS is serious about the 1 oz rule...I hope my nearly 1 oz envelope squeaks by!!

Oh no!    Cry Cry Cry   I'm so very sorry it cost you 20 cents!  I feel terrible about that.  That's the nonmachineable surcharge for making it too thick.

I am really happy you liked everything though!  And no, do not feel bad at all, I loved everything you sent!  Smiley  I'll be posting pictures next once I get them off my camera.

Yes, it is handspun yarn, but not by me.  I had some leftovers that I saved so I thought it would make a fun addition to the envelope.  Smiley

Ok!  Here is the picture from imafundork!   Grin

I was going to post a picture of the envelope decorations, but since she already did (and her photo is better than mine) I won't post.  My envelope was the second one she posted.  Smiley  And it was a fun surprise to turn it over and see all the doodles on the back!   Cheesy  On to the goodies!

She sent me loads of fun things in her envelope!  I LOVE that little owl, I think that is my most favorite, but the sparkly ribbons and such are a close second.  She sent stickers and ribbon and a recipe (looks great!) and a bookmark and some fabric and lace scraps and some paper goodies too.  Thank you so much for everything!   Grin

What happens if we don't make the 44 cent limit? I've already crafted a couple of tiny but essential things for my partners, and I want to make sure they get them. I'm hoping I can manage the limit still, but I am a little worried about it. What's our consequence if it doesn't make it?

I would really like everyone to try their darnest to stick within the set limit of using a 44 cents postage stamp...but if you end up having to pay extra for, say a non-machinable envelope, or if the scale registers as 1.01 oz (causing you go over the limit), I totally understand how that could happen Tongue  There are no direct consequences so to speak, unless there is obviously a blatant disregard for the rule.  Clear a mud? I wouldn't worry about that.  If you sent an ounce of goodies, you're good!
