Not only did I get over a tough past relationship, I now have a new blankie to snuggle under with my new boyfriend :-D

The best revenge is living well!  That's an awesome quilt.  I'm glad you chose not to throw out the fabric. Grin

Your quilt is awesome. Your story rocks. The only thing I was hoping you were going to say was that you cut up your ex's shirts to make the strips. Smiley

Congrats on a beautiful project.

I am always open to personal swaps...I'm always on the lookout for new bags, shawls, punk/steampunk accessories, Altoids tins, etc. As a professional illustrator/fine artist, I can offer something crafty, or something more artsy. Let's talk!

Love the quilt and the story! XD

I started a quilt for my fiance about sophomore year of high school out of my old clothes and never finished it. If I find that I'm going to make it happen as a wedding present to him since he's my fiance now!

Great story behind the quilt! I had a similar experience except I finished it and didn't quilt after that for a looooong time.  The next quilt I finished was for me:)

(Isn't it soooo true that every crafty woman has a story about crafting for exes?)
Thanks for sharing yours, and for motivating me to finish some projects!  Smiley
Most of my Ex Boyfriend stuff has involved window curtains, personally...

I love your quilt, and it shows what great therapy quilting can be.  As the saying goes, when life gives  you scraps, make a quilt!
