I was wondering if there was much interest in a craft swap for their significant others.

I know that my S.O is constantly asking when am I going to make him something, and when is he going to get something in a swap.
So I figured maybe it's time to pay back the person who sits by while you craft away.

I'm thinking I'd do it on the sly, so my man doesn't know he's getting things. But I think I'd ask him a few sneaky questions to help with the questionaire, even though I know him pretty darn well.

I would so do this, although I'm not doing any other swaps til at least fall.  There are several things DH is reluctant to ask me to make him but I know he'd like.  Smiley  Just a thought, too - my dad actually loves homemade things.  It might be fun to do a craft for someone else swap, if it was bigger than just SO's.

This would be awesome! I'm always looking at swaps thinking, "THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR MY BOYFRIEND!"

I would do this too - I feel bad because I devote so much time crafting for other people, and then get boxes of wonderful things that are all for me! I'll keep an eye on this thread for updates

I was just thinking of a swap like this last night, this would be awesome! I agree with donniesgirl that maybe we could open it up for a swap for someone else, or maybe "swaps for him". I never ever know what to get my grandpa for gifts, and this would be cool.

Dang there are all these good swaps coming up! I'm in, my boyfriend is always asking about my crafts and what I received in a swap. I'd love to get him some nifty things. But like donniesgirl, I won't be able to commit until anytime after late August.

That's okay.
I'm sure we can work out a time that suits more people. Smiley I have a fair bit on my plate this next month, so I probably wouldn't be able to commit 'til August either.

We can call it "Craft for My Other or Another" Tongue
Or something. That sounds silly.  Cheesy

I'm really getting ideas for him already. Tongue

What would we want in the questionaire?

Aw, other or another is cute. Maybe because it rhymes.

Hm, I'd want to know, or want my partner to know, a little bit about him such as likes and dislikes, favorite colors, favorite animals, interests, etc. I'd also include crafts you do. Any my man can be quite picky, so I'd give like a whole bio on him.  Tongue I have yet to make him a scarf that is long enough for him. Sigh. Men, I swear.

I like the "crafting for him" idea.
