I made this outfit for a friend's little girl who turned one.

It's a top and capris that can unroll down into pants.

The top is made with this tutorial - well, I went, saw the pictures, and said "oh, that's how!" and went to it.
Then I came back for measurements, since my kids are 2 and 5 months so I couldn't use them for sizing.
It's a little different, but many thanks for the tutorial!

This cord had been saved for a special occasion because there wasn't much of it.
It's varied-wale and very soft, not stiff like regular corduroy.
I made a little fake fly and added a daisy button.
Man, I should have ironed these.
But it was SO HOT, I just couldn't bear to.

Teeny butt pockets.
The wales match up with the pants, completely on accident.

Here's the cuff.
The elastic hides inside when the cuff is rolled down.

Notice how I still don't like to touch pink.
However, the pants are a little more purpley in real life.
Hope you like!
Maybe someday I'll have a little girl...
