Not sure whether this is the right place to start. I am making storysacks for school and need patterns, knitted or sewing for different creatures, at the minute an owl and a hedgehog. Any suggestions please for free patterns.
Thanks
Hennie Smiley

You'll probably get a better response if you post this in discussions and questions. Smiley

That said, can you get a copy of Kids Knitting from your local library? There is an owl puppet pattern in there, that is very simple. I wouldn't know where to start on a hedgehog though.

Thanks for the tip. I'll pop along to local library tomorrow. Have just finished sewing a dragon so didn't think the hedgehog would be too hard lol. Smiley

You might want to check out Jean Greenhowe's books.  I remember seeing an owl in one of the issues.  Also, you might want to try the book call World of Knitted Animals.

There is an owl in the Jean Greenhowe's Knitted Animals (p.18-19).  I bought my copy from ebay because amazon does not have it.
