I'm glad you're getting better Radmom! Take you're time, expecially if it means you get to catch up on some reading.

Danni have a fab time at the festivals. I love festivals and camping, it sounds great.

Radmom, so glad that you are a little more mobile, hope that you get even better faster.

Kerallyn, sharpies.....cool of coolness..you have chocolate on the way to you, I'd expect it to arrive in about a week or so. They had mini sharpies on sale in a shop I went into the other day, you know the little 3/4 inch ones, they were close to $5 each!

going back to make more pages, since I screwed up on the amounts, I get to make some for me.

Oh I know what the interweb needs, or craftster, or maybe one exists??..a random theme/idea generator. for when you are stuck for something to do. I do a lot of crafts and love swapping because it gives me focus, otherwise I tend to wander lost amongst the craft supplies not know what on earth to make. I have always fancied artschool for that reason, projects involve arbitrary rules, which makes projects easier to settle on, for a ditherer like me.

This isn't really great for ALL crafts, mostly ones of the painting/collage category. It's a Random Art prompt Generator:

http://www.magatsu.net/art/index.php

And this one could be used for 2d art, crochet, sewing a weird stuffie... Random Object generator
http://www.orderedpixels.com/misc/rand_obj/

It's a slow Friday and all I can think about is how much I want to be done with work so I can go camping. *grumble*

Radmom! Glad to see you're mobile! Even if it is slow moving it's progress. Smiley

Robot! *hugs* I will take lots of pictures, don't worry. Grin

I used to have an art prof that drove me nuts!

we had no grades at all until the class was over, so whatever we were getting for the final grade was a total mystery until we got the reports in the mail - he wouldn't even post them!

we had sketchbooks and we had to start a drawing and then every day trade with someone so they could add to the drawing you started while you added to thiers, until you thought it was done, and then you started another one

I always used the exact same thing to start each page and by the end of the semester I had a really interesting collection of about 15 different interpretations of what it was, depending on who followed my starter - and he asked me to let him keep them because he had never had anyone do a psych experiment on his classes like that before, LOL! It was fun!

I also messed with the class a lot because I would get there before anyone else would (coming straight from a class that got out an hour earlier) and would sit in a different chair all the time so I could get close to different people to do my sketchs - seems most people like to stake out their territory and sit in the same chair all semester, LOL!

we were always making things and sharing what we made with the class - our midterm was to make something from found/recyled things and then talk about it with someone else and then report what we thought about what THEY had made

and our FINAL was to TELL HIM what we thought we had learned from being in the class

I was one of those always worried what my grade was going to be, so I was obsessed with wanting to know what my scores were, but I figured this was his deal so give in and go with the flow - guess I have a childlike mind (a good thing according to him) because he said in the comments of my final sheet that I had let go of societal restrictions much more quickly than most of my classmates which surprised him since I was the oldest in the class, LOL!

It was a stressful class due to not knowing my grades ahead of time, but at the same time it was the most fun I had in any class ever!

oh - I got an A, but the class would have been great even if I had gotten a C or something...

you have to understand - I am an over-acheiver and have a very high standard of expectations for myself...  Roll Eyes   I got a stinking B in Physics and a C of all things in Calculus - which destroyed my self-esteem for at least a year and still irks me no end - so if I hadn't gotten an A in an art class I would have been a wreck.  Wink
