Hey this is my first official post!!!

I recently took a broken, stained captain's chair and fixed it, painted it, and created pillows to make a Salvador Dali "Persistance of Memory" chair. I made it while working as a 6th grade art teacher (leave replacement).

It auctioned off in the district art show for $220 to help pay for scholarships...

Here it is without the pillows:

So cool!  I totally love it, and what an amazing piece for a fundraiser - they got it for a steal, for sure.  The pillows totally make the piece, but the painting is wow!
