I don't really like the way this turned out.. I think because the sheet was too thin

Uhm... I use my Brother XR-7700 sewing machine with 77 stitch functions.  I'm saving up for a serger... I don't think it has that cover stitch function tho... (the one I'm saving for)  I use a cheater way.. but it works and keeps well.. I use it on all of my and my sons clothes... I really want my serger tho... It will take so much less time then overcasting all the edges... ugh it takes forever...  I guess as you can tell.. I'm not really smart on machine/sewing info... I just push some material through a machine and see what works!  lol.  I have had no one to teach me so I make do.
