This pleated tote was really quick and easy to make. It has an inside zippered pocket; which I didn't even know I was making until I was almost done with it! I love this bag. It's the perfect size to carry my daily things, plus a book and my lunch for workdays. There are buttons that secure the handles. They are four different vintage buttons from my stash. I love this Amy Butler print. The colors are neutral enough that I can use this bag everyday.

C&C welcome!

I used Simplicity 2685, view B. The pattern calls for 5/8 yard for the main part and 5/8 yard for the band and handles. But I got away with only using 1/2 yard for each.

That's scrumptious. Is that a center pleat or is that a seam where two panels are sewn. Either way it's soo cute.

That is absolutely adorable! The fabric choice is just inspired, and the entire thing looks incredibly professional. Fantastic job. ^_^
