Or How I Learned to Measure
Or Why I Haven't Been Able to Sleep for 5 days
So, I started planning this poppet while making my last one, which was my first.
I've learned a LOT about poppets and myself while doing this. First of all, felt IS acceptable for poppet making, just cut the tail pattern wider than normal and all is fine and dandy. Second, I really need to stop estimating everything and just measure. I swear I made her shirt combination 4 times. And finally, I do NOT like poppet shoes.
That is why she is barefoot, her shoes are still in progress, I WILL finish them tomorrow, I just can't do any more right now.
Anyway, here she is, in all her poppety, big haired glory, poppet does Rosalie. Rather, Rosalie does poppet, Rosalie is very snobby and wouldn't deign to be mimicked by a mere poppet/mortal
God how I love to hate this character! Anyway, I actually really like how she turned out, hand painted her eyes, which I'm really proud of.

She wants you to know that SHE did not pick her photo location, nor does she approve of my mess. *sigh* Brat that she is. And she is insistent that I post pictures of her tomorrow with her shoes on, since she finds bare feet unseemly.
I promise I will get some better shots, fix Her Majesty's shoes and hair (I noticed that her bangs are a bit wonky) and put a few shots up tomorrow that are more to her liking.
