I finally got around to making an Amy Bulter High Street Bag. I was just waiting for the perfect material. Here is a very geeky robot themed one (and it gave me an excuse to utilize my Gir patch). I did modify some things like the strap. I made it skinnier with a buckle and I did not put the zipper pocket on the inside of the flap (always thought that was an odd place for one).
Close up of awesome robot fabric and Gir:

the full bag:

the inside hanging pocket (with rocket scientist fabric):

and the pocket on the back:

Love Gir!  Love the robot fabric and love the bag-it looks professionally made!

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

Your bag is awesome!!
I absolutely love your geeky fabric...where on earth did you get "rocket scientist" fabric? I'm a chemist, so I love geeky science things....Only I would never be able to actually use the fabric because I'm scared of the commitment (and potential poor outcome lol)

Ah..another science afficinado (I am majoring in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry). I got the rocket scientist fabric from fabricworm.com. I was scared to use any of the fabric because I was saving it for something special and did not want to screw up the fabric!
