I could really go for some cookies right now.

So do you think its easier to learn knitting than crochet? When I see the 2 needles and all the loops, i looks so much harder, but I've been doing simple crochet since I was little, and have a hard time following any patterns, and I want to make cuter stuff.

I don't know if one is easier than the other, I think it might have to do with whatever one learns first. My mom crocheted and disliked knitting (though she taught me how). She was super fast. She crocheted a wedding dress once. Heh. I just had a really hard time getting it from instructions in a book. I wish she was still here to teach me, I'm sure it would be easier to learn that way. Also, I kept splitting the yarn with the hook, that took getting used to.

Oh how I'm inspired!  I saw this yesterday - and ran out and bought some yarn!    I am 'craftliftng' your Cookie Monster Idea and I am going to add a matching hat (with a giant cookie on the front!) and mittens (also with cookies!)  And I'm planning on making an Oscar green scarf with little worms on it instead of cookies (what was his name? Slimey?)  And my youngest son wants a red Muno scarf (from Yo Gabba Gabba).  And maybe a yellow spongebob....or a brown Scooby Doo....Wow!  I think Christmas gifts this year for the cousins are going to be scarfs!  Thanks for the inspiration!
