VanGogh is my FAVORITE! I did this in my drawing class last year. We were assigned to find an impressionist painting of our choice then had to use colored pencils to copy the image. I chose the Landscape with Couple Walking and Crescent Moon, Like you are doing for your WIP. =] I loved doing this!

I LOVE him ,too. His life was so tragic Sad. I think what draws me to him is the texture and colors he uses. I might try painting one of his works...eventually. Thanks again!

So don't take anything for granted, stand outside in the rain. An excuse, you know I planned it. Every ending ends all the same...

I finally got around to finishing "Landscape with couple walking and crescent moon". I'm not as happy with this one mostly because I didn't have all the right shades of permanent markers. I ended up having to use colored pencils to get some of the shades.I did have fun working on it, though. Thanks for looking!

I love your version of both paintings! And using permanent markers!  Shocked I am deathly afraid of pens and permanent markers, I just can't seem to use them right. How long did it take you to do them?

Thanks! Smiley
How funny! I can't bring myself to try pastels of any kind again! I seem to layer and layer in my work and I can't do that with them and still have it look right. I have a pretty big fear of markers as well. I tense up when I realize what I'm working with.

They didn't take me long, but I ended up having to take lots of breaks because I didn't want to rush it and screw it all up. The minute I felt myself trying too hard, I would stop. I really should get back to working on more.
