I received my fantastic package from superhooker last week and my kid finally brought home his camera for me to use.  She knit me a sacred heart!!!!!  Let me just say that this kind of knitting is like magic to me and I aspire to be able to do this someday....


I'm mightily obsessed with hearts lately and I absolutely adore this


for supplies she sent me the neatest knitting book in RUSSIAN!!  some gorgeous turquoisey yarn and the fluffiest Michigan shetland


(a peek at the inside of the book) aaaand a trio of little canvas's plus a baggie full of crap to glue to other crap!  Theres some really neato bits in here

Thanks for the fantabulous swap package superhooker!  This gallery has been totally spectacular (if this is everyone's quick and easy, I'd really like to see their long and difficult!!)

I'm so glad you liked it AM!!  The heart was really fun to knit...the pattern for it is in the Anticraft book.  Right when you said you wanted print in Russian I had a light bulb moment...I bought that book from a thrift store about a year ago.  My husband was all, "Why are you buying that?  You can't read it!"  but I knew!  I knew I would find a use for a Russian knitting book!!
