Here are photos of the things I received from Gamemom42.  First up, the supplies!

Look at all that great stuff!  There's some fantastic knit material (perfect because I love my serger and knit fabrics) some sweet vintage buttons (can you see the purple hippos?  almost too cute!) A pattern for purses and some wooden handles, elastic, needles, bias tape, and on the left you can see the little denim tote.  I've actually been decorating a bunch of totes lately with embroidery and quilting, just making my cheapie $1 bags you get at the grocery store a little nicer.  It'll be great to have a sturdy little tote to add  to my collection once I decide the perfect way to embellish it.

And finally, check out this sweet crafted item:

Isn't that a fab elephant?  I love it.  She wrote in her note that she used three of her favorite fabrics to make it, so I know we've got that in common.  The fabrics are fantastic, and her details are great.  The beading is a nice touch.

Thanks Gamemom, I really liked my package, and I'm sorry it took me so long to get pictures up!
Cheers,
Lau

I received a few days ago but our weather has been gross and I hate taking pictures inside. They just come out too yellow. And when you see what I got you'll understand me wanting to do it justice!
First my crafted item:

A woven bag! And it's lined with awesome purple checked fabric!
I'm allergic to many natural fibers which made this swap a bit tricky as ariaya is a spinner. But she managed to make this with acrylic yarn which feels like chenille. Then she sent me some more of the same yarn as a supply:

It's very soft and squishy! I can't wait to try it!
And then to top it off she made me cakes of fiber just for me with fibers I can spin without breaking out/sneezing/ getting generally icky! And she included some I'd been wanting to try spinning in the mixture:

The bag was fogging up pretty bad. Did I mention it's been icky, muggy and humid out lately? With lots of rain too. Tongue
Anyways the fibers include:
Merino(love)
bamboo(wanted to try)
inego
Silk (OOOH)
Rayon
And Flash(Shiney and sparkly! WIN/WIN)
The colors are colors I love and range from browns, silvers, golds, pinks and greens. Which you'd think wouldn't look good together but they do!
And here's my whole package together:

There is also a bar of soap and tea. And she made me a little braid(not pictured) of what the fibers look like spun up. Smiley

Ooh!  What beautiful stuff!  That elephant is adorable.  And all that fiber -- awesome!

I want to apologize for not posting pics yet -- we had a family wedding this weekend which had us all very busy, and tonight as I am trying to upload my pics its not working!   Huh  Does anyone else have trouble with pics on Craftster?  Anyway, pinkleo -- I will try to get pics up as soon as possible!  If you happened to have any and want to post in the meantime, please feel free to do so.  I'm so sorry it has taken this long!  Undecided
