Charity Shop Scarf Dress

Our fashion and textile class had to make garments for a charity fashion show, way back in October, we were put into teams of 3 and given £15 to spend in the charity shop on anything we liked.
We chose silk scarfs as we knew the rest of the class would choose existing garments.
We made a tight fitting bodice and a full skirt. The bodice was a cheap corset(thank god for primark!) and the scarfs were folded to fit the form, I had to hand sew every fold down, crazy amount of sewing later and Tada! done!
The skirt is pretty simple we sewed all the scarfs together joining one corner to another and forming a chain, we then turned a channel for elastic and fini!
Our team won out of 8 entries. Wooooop
