My friend got a new mini laptop and asked if I could make her a bag, I hope she like it. She just recently got a tattoo which inspired the squid on the front. It measures roughly 10x8x5.

Wow, great job!  I love the effect of the piecing.  Did you follow a pattern or tutorial for the bag construction or just figure it out yourself?

Actually the pattern piecing on the front is called "log cabin" i think. I just downsized it a TON. lol...I think that next time I will make it just a bit smaller so that more of the actual pattern of the piecing shows Smiley Thanks for all nice comments! Grin
