So this is a project I have been working on for a while, I keep changing things, I had a catastrophe that led in to having to cut it apart,(I had sugar skulls in the corners and a border around her but then it got ripped.  It has been a long road but the end result is this.  I fell totally in love with this print by Sunny Buick and thought I'd have a go at embroidering it. I think it came out well.  Thanks for looking! Grin

Here's a close up of her Hair, I used 6 different shades to get that look and I think it came out okay.

Here's the original at her web site and I hope I did it Justice.

I love, love, love this. There aren't enough loves. The colors are great and your stitching is so neat. Personally, I like it better than the original.

Amazing! And I totally see the inspiration in the embroidery!

You have just given me some inspiration to go back and continue work on the killer embroidery I am working on. Buh.

She measures 7 inches tall by about 6 inches wide

I had planned on making a quilted wall hanging but I may just find a antique bubble frame to put her in.

Thanks again! Grin

So beautiful.  The hair definitely turned out better than "okay."  I love the idea of putting it in a bubble frame; that would be the icing on the cake!
