Mr.fantastic's sister found this tutorial for using three colours of yarn while doing Tunisian crochet.

I tried it using some plain scraps of Bernat Satin I had kicking around and found the technique wonderfully addictive!

In my rush out the door to work one day, I grabbed three balls of Bernat Boucle Stripes and a 9mm tunisian hook, and hoped for the best.

Here's the best over-all pic I could get:

I can't wait to make another one of these!

Beautiful!  The colors look so great together.  I have been dying to try tunisian crochet!! I am definitely checking out that tutorial!!  Great job!

Thanks!  Once you get the hang of Tunisian crochet you won't be able to put this one down.

While working on it I was literally going:

*get to one end* Ooh! New colour!
*get to the other end* Ooh! New colour!
*get to the first end again* Ooh! New colour!

Or maybe I'm just easily amused... lol

Tunisian crochet is on my list of things to learn. I may have to give this blanket a try... my cousin is expecting in the fall and it would be a nice gift!
