Why does the title of this post sound so dirty?
I wanted to share my first ever amigurumi type project.  The pattern that I used is from the may/june 09' issue of Crochet Today.  Their snake had a diamond patterned back but I decided to do a striped snake and used different colors than they did.  It is approximately 7 feet long.  My daughter loves it!!  Lumpy tail and all.

Cheesy The title made me laugh and almost woke the DH. I love this snake, great idea for a body pillow on the bed, nicely done! Grin

Well, well, well, you really have a large snake.  A fabulously crafty one too!!  I would have loved to have this when I was growing up!

I don't know how you could get the pattern mlg other than ordering a back issue of the mag.

I have no idea how many hours I have into this thing.  It was started in march...I think and then after finishing the body I let it go for months.  The snake almost ended up being one of those lifers in the unfinished projects pile but then I remembered how Gibson's eyes lit up when I showed her the picture of the snake in the magazine.  This motivated me to finish 3 months later.

ScarletGrace: I used about 4 bags of poly fiber fill.

And you are right Patt, the snake is not as cute as my Gibs!!

Your snake is really cool too vampy!!  I have been thinking about making one out of old wool sweaters as seen in craftzine.  We'll see how that goes.

Thanks for all of the wonderful comments everyone!
