Wait, wait! Before you commence throwing tea bags at me, let me explain!

As a British-American who collects tea sets, I am a lover of Royal Daulton of course!

So, when I was shopping in Property Control [it's where Disney sells off all it's old crap from like the hotels and restaraunts to cast members] I happened upon a plain white Royal Daulton tea cup! It was only 75 cents, so I grabbed it! Then I set about finding a matching saucer - I grabbed one that was plain white, fit the saucer, and was 50 cents hehe.

Now what?

Well, I wanted to do something like the flowers I was currently painting all over the place, so this happened:
























it's for my Auntie Caz, who is absolutely mad on bees!

Unfortunately, all the money I saved on buying the fine bone china will be spent on mailing it off to England from craptastic Florida lol

Just Krylon clear gloss spray-paint... three coats lol. Hence the non-usable.

That is intensely beautiful!!  The blue and bright yellow is a gorgeous contrast on the bright white.  Very nice.....your Auntie is Caz is sure to be delighted!

Why thank ye! I sent it off in tons o' bubble wrap and it only cost me $12, so that's not bad really. Hopefully it survives! We'll see soon enough! Smiley

Shards of uniquely painted Daulton bad.........Bubble wrap, goooooooooood, lol.  That stuff is great....I am confident it will arrive intact.
