I wanted to take a minute to let you all know how long threads on this board are kept.  It's never been asked of me, but I feel like I should give you the info up front!

Threads in this board will stay here in perpetuity UNLESS:
  • The website up for critique no longer exists
  • The pictures of the products being critiqued are no longer visible

If one of those things is true, the entire thread is deleted.  Therefore, if you post on this board a lot and suddenly realize you've got posts missing, that's most likely be why.

Just a little more info about the general characteristics of deleted threads:
Many of the threads I clean up were started at least 2 years ago.
Many were started by members who are no longer active.

Why am I deleting these threads?
I feel that much of the wisdom imparted in these threads is also imparted in other, newer threads and that the majority of users to this forum won't go traipsing around toward the back of the board for their information.
For certain things it's just really difficult to understand what's being discussed when you can't see the site/product!

Why aren't all topics deleted after a certain amount of time?
I feel that if you are looking at those old posts, it may be helpful to see just how far some of these websites have come!  It's kind of astonishing how some websites have flourished. Smiley

So yea, not that anyone was asking these questions, but here are the answers anyway. Wink

If you have comments/concerns you can post here or PM me!
