****edit****  i have been informed that these are not in fact harem pants but knickerboxers! now we all know!:)Smiley

this is the final result:

Before:

A few days ago I found these hideous capri trousers lurking in the back of my wardrobe, which i havent worn since I was about fourteen. Needless to say, theyre pretty unflattering, as well as making me look like a shortie!:P

So I cut off the bottom of each trouser leg and sewed it back on, except tighter, making my very own pair of harem pants..

the detail at the bottom:

I also altered the halter top. I have no before-photo but basically all I did was make it more fitted.

*****************************"SECOND TOP********************

yet again I forgot to take a 'before' photo, but it was made from my brothers old t-shirt that had vertical stripes goin all the way down..

Feel free to comment Smiley

I adore your pants!  I had a few pairs of those capri pants that I donated because they weren't flattering.  I wish I had them now so I could do that!  I think harem pants are adorable but they often have that silly dropped, um, inseam.  I'm going to need to find some pants to do this to!  Awesome job with these and with the top!

These are way better now! I think they are way cute, but my fashion terminology training is coming out Tongue  These are knickerbockers, not harem pants. To be harem pants they have to be loose and baggy, with big fluffy gathered ankles. How do I know this? I did the exact same thing in fashion school and had the teacher tell me this Cheesy  I love the red too, red pants always excite me for some reason...
