My family totally had the same camper when I was a kid Cheesy

Ha.

The idea of restoring it, though? GENIUS.
Now if only we still had the camper Wink

Genius, I tell ya.

I just a camper re-do on DesignSponge's website, and immediately wondered how yours was going!!!

In case you're still in the process of decorating the trailer, take a look at this website:
www.sistersonthefly.com .  It's a women's fishing & vintage trailer website, and you can see dozens of creatively decorated vintage trailers by going to the "caravan trailers" tab.  I have one myself that I decorated the inside in a "domestic diva" theme.

That link was given earlier in the thread, and I went and looked at EVERY SINGLE ONE. I'm envious of you. Is your camper on here anywhere?

Urban Albino, where are you, we miss you.

Awesome camper- a lot of work but it will be worth it in the end!  Have you ever seen the campers on the vintage housewife blog http://thevintagehousewife.blogspot.com/  She has the most adorable trailer (inside and out) in pink and white- called 'little cupcake'  http://thevintagehousewife.blogspot.com/2009/10/kick-up-your-heelsthis-heres-trailer.html

not sure if you like this idea but I have a friend who has a little trailer like yours but it's called a Boler trailer and it's painted to look like a ladybug.  it's cute.

Lovesclutter -- I'm sorry I disappeared off the face of the earth!!  The project of restoring the inside of the trailer was finished by my dad.  I ran out of time and money, so I let my dad take over for a little while. After they did that, they used it on a camping trip for the first time in ... 15 years?  The outside however is still disgustingly terrible, waiting for my crafty hand to redeco!

My husband and I travel to Asheville, NC for a yearly festival called "Transformus" and my new goal is to have the outside the most awesome thing you ever saw by the weekend we leave - July 17!  I will try not to leave you people hanging.  Thanks for thinking of me!!  =)

Just stumbled across this thread...You're so lucky! What a CUTE camper! Going to run over to your blog to see what is going on, but...what about seafoam? (Though red is my favourite colour, too. It is always my first choice for just about everything.)
