I think the right bed area would make a nice sitting area. I don't see a table in there, and if there isn't, I'd suggest getting one of ikea's fold out tables and putting it there with some nice chairs. Or maybe just a couple of armchairs bolted down. Congrats on the adorable camper! There are so many awesome things you could do with a gem like that, but I love the sailor jerry idea!

hopefully you wont have to gut too much of it because the wood kinda makes it lol and for the space where the other bed is, does it have any seating like booth dining area? you could put in seats and a table that you can lower and sit a mattress on, lots of caravans do that, so then you have the option of another bed if ever needed and dining space

Oh I LOVE cupcake curtains!!!  I totally love that!!  DH made a little turquoise/banana model.  (Now that we see how cool the turquoise looks, we might consider it.  We will do another model of the candy apple red and see how that looks. Can't wait for all you creative peeps to utilize the coloring sheet! Cheesy )

-- In response to the table idea on the right side, I think that rocks and we are going to try to work that out.  I like the idea of bolting neat chairs to the floor!  This is a lot of fun and I am really enjoying all this planning and gathering of ideas.  Tomorrow we are getting paint stripper from the store to get it down to the aluminum.

I think Robin eggs blue with white trim (+ detail) would be beautiful. Or bubblegum pink! Though doupt your hubby would be to thrilled with that one.

I love the peace sign idea  or you could go completely totally off the wall and make it look like the gingerbread house from hansel and gretel.
or paint it to look like a bowling bag.  lame I know but it was all I could think!

Wow this topic really boomed! I haven't had a chance to read all of the replies since mine..but I did see the pics of the inside.. Could you possibly turn that extra bed by the door into a nice sitting area. Like some kind of built in bench with storage underneath it? That could be a cool idea... just throwing my thoughts out there. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

So you, could spend the morning walkin with me, quite amazed. As I am unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed.
