I LOVE it!!! very jelous!

I like the idea of an old 60's diner... turquoise on the outside with red sparkly vinyl  in the inside and chrome.  If you did stencil something (a picture I mean) I'd put a tattoo on it.  Haha... like an old sailor jerry tattoo.  Best of luck, and i don't care if it takes you years to finish!!! We better see final pictures!!!!

My mom has revamped a couple of campers in her days. For the floors she used the individual (1'x1') linoleum tiles and that seemed to work out really well. It's probably easier to fit one small piece in at a time rather tahn one large piece. You can also then shape the pieces one at a time to go around any fixtures.

As for the paint job, I'm drawing a blank except for maybe some pin striping or something.

Can't wait to see this come to fruition for you! Good Luck!

Oh I saw one just like that in candy apple red and white with chrome trim and it was gorgeous!

I have no idea on the artwork.. maybe it would be fun to add a small picture to remind you of every trip you take in it Smiley

Totally jealous!

I think a robin's egg blue with red trims and chrome.

Very cool! I remember seeing an article several years ago about a group of women who restored vintage travel trailers with cool 50's style cowgirl stuff - they weren't cowgirls themselves - but the dolled up trailers were fabulous. Smiley Have fun!

I like the two tone 50s colors, white/black or white/red or white/turquiose.  Keep in mind how hot that sucker will be inside if you paint the top black!  I lived in a silver 31' Silver Stream for a bit and that thing could get toasty even living on the NorCal Coast.  It was kinda like camping all the time. <----------------TOTALLY  jealous
<------------ going camping this weekend at Mammoth Caves in Kentucky
<----------------- currently googling "old campers for sale" in hopes of finding something cheap for the future

Ok, now that my jealous is out of the way, if it were my trailor I'd do one of the following: high gloss black with flames, turquoise with chrome, or dark pine green with brown trim (woodsy looking y'know).

Did I mention that I'm jealous?

I'm also jealous...what a great project! I'd cover it in pink glitter...with silver flames...but you'd probably want something more tastefull! Can't wait to see how it comes out!
