Ive finally had time to upload photos of a dress I made a few months ago, using the same technique as in Jeandress Number One.

I
t was made from an Extra-Small sized pair of stretch jeans that i found in a bargain-bin for 2euro, because the zip was broken. The fabric was lovely to work with, but what I didnt realise when I started sewing was how LITTLE material there actually was!! I am certainly NOT sized X-S, so it basically took every last scrap of the jeans to make a semi-decent dress! Lol and it still turned out a little bit too short for my liking!

heres the back:

And a close-up of the front:

I loved the embroidery on the front pockets Smiley

I looveee the front and back pocket designs. So cool. Your jean dresses are both completely awesome!.

I attempted to make one from when you posted the first and failed miserably. Haha! Maybe I'll try again! Cheesy

very cool...and I think the length of it looks good on you...not too short really. I wouldn't classify it as risque!

This dress is soooo cute! I, too, tried from your first one and, I, too, failed miserably! I can't figure out the sweetheart neckline.
Anyway, you've inspired me to try again.
Thank you.

Thank you Smiley
Well, in the original blue denim dress i took the lazy way out when finishing the top of the bodice. i took a VERY big dart on each side (theyre marked in the picture in the tutorial), and at an angle so that they forced the top of the bodice to slope downwards to form that M-shape, and adjusted it through trial and error really!

Im not sure if i explained that too well, but in the black-demin dress i put in smaller darts and just cut the top of the bodice into the M-shape i wanted!

hope thats any help to you!
