I was driving around with my partner the other day, turned, and said "I want to make a skirt." Problem is all of my fabric (was) about an hour away in storage. We went to Hobby Lobby and I picked out some fabric, with chiffon recommended by Quinn because - apparently - the polka dots were too "loud." psh.

paneled skirt with tie closure (because I'm no good at zippers...). The chiffon was SO evil to cut and sew. I needed to hem it but it was impossible to do, so I used some iron on interfacing type tape and then zigzagged over it. I want to say it looks better than in the photo but maybe it doesnt. hahah I think it's about time someone invested in a serger... for me. Zigzagged over the edge of the under fabric as the hem. The tie closure is a bit... funny. I made the last panel a bit larger on each piece in order to do a sort of invisible seam but then accidentally added it to the wrong side on one, so sshhhh. No one needs to know.

that is CUTE!  and the polka dots are sooo not too loud, but the chiffon really does add to them.  great job! Cheesy
